You are cordially invited to participate to the second workshop on Genome Organizers that will take place from the 21st to the 23rd of January 2026 at Genopolys (near the Institute of Human Genetics, Montpellier, France).
The goal of the meeting is to gather together research teams working on genome organizers, 3D genome organization and/or bio-physical modelling of genome’s topology.
The format will consist of 8 main oral sessions, each initiated by a talk from an invited speaker, and a dedicated poster session. Oral presentations will be selected on abstracts and priority will be given to young researchers (PhD students and junior post-docs). All attendees are encouraged to submit an abstract for either oral or poster presentation.

The workshop will start the 21st of January 2026 at 1:30 pm (registration) and end the 23rd at 4:00 pm.

On the first page, indicate the title, the abstract text, the main topic corresponding to your research, and your choice of presentation (oral/poster). Tramway 1 gives direct access to the conference
Montpellier city center is easily accessible in 20 min by Tram 1.
Hotels & Transportation
To reach the conference venue, the easiest option is to take the tramway (Line 1, the blue tram with white swallows). The stop is “Occitanie”, and the workshop site “Genopolys” is located just across from the tram stop.
Tramways – Buying a Ticket (2 options)
- Install the “M’Ticket” app: This allows you to purchase your ticket in advance and validate it virtually when you board a TAM tram or bus. You can buy single tickets or a pack of 10 tickets at once.
- Buy a ticket that is immediately validated: Available from the automatic ticket machines located at major tram stations. You can also purchase single tickets or 10-ticket bundles; be careful, tickets bought from these machines are validated automatically.
- Getting to Génopolys by Tram: Take Line 1, stop at Occitanie.

Access is through the main entrance at the guard station.
Sheltered bicycle parking is available near the IGH and IGF buildings.
TAM rental bicycles can be found at many tram stations.

Parking is available near the IGH and IGF Institutes, and a paid TAM parking lot is located at the Occitanie tram stop.
Arriving from Major Transport Hubs
From Saint-Roch Train Station
Take Tram Line 1 towards Mosson and get off at Occitanie (blue tram with white swallows).
Approximate travel time: 20 minutes.
From Sud de France Train Station
Follow the large rainbow flag markings on the ground to reach Tram Line 1.
Take Line 1 towards Mosson, stop at Occitanie.
Approximate travel time: 41 minutes.
From Montpellier Méditerranée Airport
Take the Airport Shuttle – Line 120 to Place de l’Europe.
Then take Tram Line 1 towards Mosson, stop at Occitanie.
Approximate travel time: 15 minutes by shuttle + 28 minutes by tram.
Shuttle operates daily: 8:30–23:00 (Airport → Place de l’Europe) and 5:00–20:00 (Place de l’Europe → Airport).
